The Kits Profile

Dave Taylor recommends the authenticity smacking garage rock of The Kits

When it comes to garage rock n roll, you can count on Dirty Water Club supremo PJ Crittenden to separate the wheat from the chaff.
With an ear for a proper gritty nugget, PJ has recently added Aussie rockers The Kits to his Dirty Water label.

'Don't Want to Lose This Fight' will be released on June 16th and it's a cracker of a 7inch.
It's the real deal people. Not shiny or big budget, the two tracks on the single smack of authenticity, reminding of The Saints and The Chob.
With a reputation for raucous live performances, it's no surprise that the band are drawing Black Lips comparisons too.

Luckily, you won't have to travel to the other side of the world to see them, as they're now based in London. Check out their myspace site for details of upcoming gigs www.myspace.com/thekits
