COMPETITION: WIN TWO PAIRS OF TICKETS TO BORING BY THE SEA FESTIVAL IN WEYMOUTH

Summer festival 'Boring By The Sea' give Artrocker.com the chance to get you and a friend into their great Weymouth event for free. Good Shoes, The Teenagers and Future Of The Left headline.

We have two pairs of tickets to give away to Dorset's hottest summer event The Boring By The Sea Festival (June 29th).

To better explain how you're going to win tickets and then if you don't win, how you're going to buy tickets to this excellent festival I leave you in the capable hands of Mr Richard Walsh.

My name is Richard Walsh, creator and head organiser of the first BORING BY THE SEA FESTIVAL which'll take place in Weymouth, Dorset on June 29th. We're an entirely independent event trying to bring the real exciting DIY element back into music whilst trying to create an active music scene in our county as we're all fed up of having to travel as far as Portsmouth for a decent show (80 miles!). We haven't got a single sponsor backing us up and the £13k being used to fuel the event is being raised by two of us at our £5.50 an hour jobs and a little help from my Mother. Considering we're ages 18 and 19 this is an incredible feat for youngers and independent music.

So, the first BORING BY THE SEA FESTIVAL will take place across Banus, The Lazy Lizard, The Queens Hotel and Tuatara Bar in Weymouth featuring 12 hours of non-stop music at each venue. 37 artists will participate on the day so it's going to be heavy duty stuff for us, only used to handling 4 bands at a time. A great deal of the acts we've got on the bill are featured at every other mainstream festival in the UK including Glastonbury, V Festival, Latitude, Reading and Leeds, Bestival etc.
