GALLON DRUNK (FRED)
http://www.myspace.com/gallondrunk
One of John Peel's favourite groups, Gallon Drunk first exploded onto the scene circa.1990, and quickly established themselves as a must-see of the London circuit. Nowadays, their brooding brand of garage rock has seen them compared to the likes of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and The Willard Grant Conspiracy.
'Why? Because they don't sound like anyone else' – John Peel

TROST (BRONZERAT)
http://www.myspace.com/trostcity
The strikingly enigmatic Annika Line Trost (one half of the internationally acclaimed Cobra Killer) inspires love and fear in equal measure, both musically and aesthetically. “Trust Me” is an album of mesmerizing depth which draws the listener, via its seductive grooves and groundbreaking ambitiousness, into a sonic adventure which is unknown yet timeless. It is a vehicle to steal you away into her world of dichotomies: warmth and coldness, manic and sedate, fluid and interrupted. Your body is pulled one way by rhythms which tap into your dance genes, but your brain wants you to be still to contemplate what you are hearing. The tension gives way in your chest. It is a trap….but you will thank her for it.

LOVERMAN (REAL GOLD)

First support comes from hidden gem Loverman, formed only this year and known for playing secret gigs and warehouse parties. One to watch for 2008 if you can find them.
