New to London...

Greetings all,

I am moving to London from Australia next week. The music scene over there is a mystery to me. Could someone please help me with which venues, bands/artists, networks, websites, zines, towns, record stores, rehearsal spaces I should be exploring when I arrive?

To give you an idea, here is a list of sounds that I like:
Tim Hecker
LIARS
OOIOO
The Dirty Three
Karen Dalton
Pivot
Boards Of Canada
Always
Wire
This Heat

You get the idea...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
